It seemed as if Dorian put everything out there for her, convinced us all that he would give her anything within his power and that she could place her trust in him.

Now, dear friends, let me go on an emotional rampage: They were just ehir interesting add-on to the story-building and provided an extra thrill for the reader. I didn’t think the book was that great in its entirety.

Shadow Heir Dark Swan, 4 3. Well, that takes care of Storm Kings heir.

Fairy king Dorian is sacrificing everything to help, but Eugenie can’t trust the synergy drawing them back together. As for kiyo, as I said before, I’m okay with how he was handled in this book. How can Lissa and Rose be best friends when Lissa accepts that Rose would risk her life for her and that she’s worth more than Rose.

There are more loose threads with shadw ending than there were in Last Sacrifice and LS had a spin-off coming. Then the Volunsian plot thread. Throw in Georgina’s vacuity, plus her mistreatment of Roman and his subsequent castration, and I’ve no time for any of them. Quotes from Mdad Heir.

The uneasy truce between her and her shape shifter ex-lover Kiyo is endangered by secrets he can’t – or won’t – reveal. Jan 01, Dija rated it liked it Recommends it for: I was very dissappointed that Kiyo and Maiwenn got to walk away without being punished.

I don’t want to spoil anything for those of you who haven’t read up to book three Lovely, deceiving, but so lovable Dorian. What kind of bullshit is that.

He didn’t have to necessarily say he would have done things differently because that would have been a liebut at the very least, he could have said that rihelle part of himself would always remember their times fondly. We never find out if she does tell him.

That’s probably dangerously close to the truth. I enjoyed reading his growth during the book. Add to this her incessant abuse of Adrian’s emotions and she’s far more the villain than her emo, victim-of-circumstance teacher.
