Then she slips out before breakfast without leaving a note and, despite their precautions I also loved the get-pregnant-on-first-date thing, and how the hero and heroine both handle it.
Kevin quickly warms to the idea of being a dad and to seeing where things go with Beth. He was like a little kid on Christmas morning. She felt claustrophobic and blamed the hero for trying to welcome her into his family. Regardless of his surprise, Kevin is very supportive and willing to do whatever is needed to help Beth and the baby.
I love it when they get together and try to talk about whatever the current problem is.

Beth was a good character in the beginning but after she kept this all going for the whole story I had trouble giving her the leeway for her actions I’d been willing to give her in the beginning.
